Thanks again to Sarah for filling in for me on Friday! :)
Yesterday, I had a lovely day "off," meandering the outlets and a furniture store, while DH took over munchkin duty. I called it mommy's spring break, as he is off of school this entire week, and we're not traveling anywhere. Oh how times have changed from my spring breaks of yore. :) Alas, nearly all his friends are going somewhere, so I'm working on some fun activities for us. Last year, we were blessed with super warm weather, but this year, it's the opposite, which makes it a bit trickier. We'll hit some of the usual haunts (library, museum, park, pool, etc), but my little guy is a creative soul, so he likes lots of projects. Thank goodness for Pinterest, even though it usually makes me feel like a bit of a slacker. There are sooooo many ideas out there! Here's one we plan to attempt (from redtedart), isn't it darling?
Well then, onto another J.Crew review, while the 25-30% off promo is going strong (until 3/26). The Collection cashmere raglan sweater in stripe is cheery and super soft. I tried on my usual size small and it was big, both in the body and under the arms. I didn't have time to grab an XS to try on, but that would be my choice. I liked this colorway and shape and it didn't feel short. The canary peach colorway is on sale (and I think the pink).
I was able to stop at the Factory store yesterday, and my favorite items were the maritime-themed pieces, with anchors and lobsters (like this new anchor sweater). It was soooo crowded, so I couldn't take pictures there, but will try to get some up soon.
Do you have any spring break plans?
