looking on the bright side.

On an especially dreary day, it was lovely to receive some cheerful sale items from Kate Spade, in bright colors with happy thoughts attached, such as "Look on the Bright Side" and "Supercalifragilipstick."

This surprise sale, which has been extended through today, offered many tempting items from which to choose. Using some closet cleaning ebay funds, I selected a pretty bright pink lipstick to replace the one I accidentally melted, a little tee that will pair well with the many pink in my closet year-round (it's a clear bright yellow IRL), a saucy little bracelet with kissing cockatoos, and some sprightly earrings to jazz up more staid outfits.

Kate also rolled out some new spring arrivals recently, and I've had fun perusing them as the sleet comes down outside my window. I was drawn to all the pinks, not surprisingly.
