Hi everyone!
Boden recently rolled out their spring lineup and there are some really great pieces I must say. Not only that, they are offering 15% off and free shipping with code WAFL. They have already put some items on promo (20% off) and that is stacking with the 15%. Nice!
Here is a looong list of my favorites.
Leather Pouch Bag -- Perfect bright red and yellow for spring, plus a nice neutral in the tan colorway.
Fabric Mix Top -- I love the floatiness, and think if you have a small bust, this would be really cute. But if you don't, I think it might end up looking maternity. Boo, b/c I really love that champagne pink/driftwood colorway.
Weekender Dress -- This is a regular item for Boden, and I'm loving this washed red color. With the defined waist and sleeves, this looks really flattering. Love the linen/cotton mix.
Macrame Top -- I was sooo close to ordering this during the preview. I love every color. Cheery red, and elegant grey and that soft turquoise.
Funnel Neck Sweatshirt -- Easy, breezy, a little different.
Florence Top in sandstone rose -- So pretty. Anthro-esque.
Ruched Bandeau Swimsuit in multi jungle flower. This one is going to cover a multitude of sins if you're off to vacation soon post-holiday-indulging. :)
Wedge Desert Boots in navy dot -- So cute, come on!
Rainy Day Mac -- More dots!
Vintage Ponte Dress -- Stripes, classic shape, flattering ponte.
Textured Ponte Dress -- Again, flattering, and that turquoise is lovely.
Casual Pintuck Dress -- Obsessing over turquoise apparently, b/c I love it in this one too.
Shirt Dress -- Pretty solid colors and stripe. Love linen so much in the warmer months.
Lou Lou Dress -- Yay, in a bright color! The red looks like a showstopper. A comfy one. (I tried the striped version and while I liked the silhouette, the colors were too drab and worn-looking for me.)
Denim Shirt Dress -- Great for just throwing on with some great jewelry and shoes and running out the door.
Jersey Shirtdress -- I love jersey and I love shirtdresses, so I'm interested in how this one works IRL.
Blenheim Blazer in Drifwood Doves -- Love this little print all over the collection.
Cashmere Textured Jumper -- Love in ivory.
The Shirt in fun spot and lemon curd gingham.
Ballerinas (look very similar to J.Crew's Ceces) - Leather upper, lining and sock, with rubber sole.
Sixties Slingbacks -- Easy heels, low-maintenance patent, lots of colors.
Strappy Sandals -- love navy and this zebra.
Pointed Mary Janes -- Easy heels, nice.
Everyday A-line Skirt -- More polka dots and I appreciate an a-line style.
Canonbury Skirt -- Reminds me of the pleat-front skirt from J.Crew that I love, but in a pretty spring green.
Wrap Jersey Top -- The multi meadow colorway just screams spring, doesn't it?
Off-duty Sweatshirt -- This looks like a nice lounge-around, run-to-Target piece. I love the quartz.
Chancery Dress -- This is fab. A flattering silhouette, forgiving ponte, and in great basic colors, as well as this gorgeous sapling green. This one looks to be selling well already.
Walbrook Wool Dress -- 100% stretch wool, with that ruching, this looks like it could be amazing as a work dress.
Audrey Jumper -- Love the neckline and am glad they keep bringing it back, this time with some texture.
What are you loving in this rollout? Did you order anything with the preview that you can share?
Have a great day!

Hey, girl. I hope all the moving stuff is going well. It is so so so hard to pack up and move. I really feel for you. :)
ReplyDeleteGreat picks. And as per usual, we are on the same page as far as what we like. I have the weekender dress and off duty sweatshirt coming to me soon, and will likely do reviews on them, provided the weather either cooperates or I can winterize them somehow. (But knowing our area, we can be assured of warmer weather--since that has been the trend the past two years.)
I did want to let you all know that the Funnelneck Sweatshirt is on promo as of this am and will be until next sunday, so with the 20% off and the additional 15% off, it is a pretty good deal for a versatile piece.
I did a Boden Weekly Review Roundup on clearance pieces for those of you looking to buy some great Boden on sale and with free shipping (now that free shipping is back). You have a couple of reviews in there, too. :) Boden Weekly Review Roundup--Clearance Spectacular can be found here.
Thanks, the moving thing is not easy. But putting a lot into storage right now is going to be so helpful when the actual move happens.
DeleteOoh, can't wait to hear your reviews of those two. That's a great deal on the funnelneck sweatshirt. I think it's just a cute, fun piece.
Saw your fab roundup, thanks for including my reviews!
I ordered the Shirt in multi-petal in the preview and that is all -- I am pretty dependent on reviews and garment measurements for making purchases, none of which was available on the preview site. I did make a huge sale purchase, most of which went right back. Hard to say whether that was entirely the goods or mostly buyer's remorse after Christmas spending! Of what is available on clearance, I already had the notch neck shift in teal and love it -- it is really perfect for work -- and got the Silk Blossom Dress in green in the sale, and am so, so pleased with it -- the dress is gorgeous and such a good price now for a silk dress. Going forward I know I will get one of the cropped cashmere cardigans in a lovely spring color -- I love them.
ReplyDeleteI'm always more hesitant as well, when there are no reviews on there to go by, but it's a pretty painless process to return at least. Love that notch neck shift, so cute and flattering. I wondered about that silk blossom dress as well, thanks for mentioning that it's a winner.
DeleteLOVE the chancery dress. Great picks! how do you think the sizing runs? would it be the same as my jcrew size? thanks!!
ReplyDeleteIsn't it gorgeous? I'm dying to see that one IRL. I definitely always go by their measurements, as they're pretty reliable as far as sizing. They are not quite as vanity-sized as J.Crew, so I've been a 6 in many of their dresses, and am a solid 4 in J.Crew dresses. I was debating the size for this one, but think I'd likely start with the 6. Might be worth a chat with CS too, in case they have any insight.
DeleteAnon and M,
DeleteI have the finsbury from the fall and it is the same silhouette, but the chancery is a more stretchy forgiving fabric. I took a size 6 long in that one, so M, the 6 may be too big on you. You may want to start with a 4.
Anon, I typically wear a size 6 or 8 in J. Crew dresses, depending on the cut. If there is a more voluminous skirt, I always can size down (sometimes even to a 4) since I am pear-shaped. If the dress has a straighter skirt, I usually have to buy an 8. Same goes for Boden with me. Hope that helps. :)
oh i love that sweatshirt and the dot top! i probably would live in the hoodie :)
ReplyDeleteThe Rainy Day Mac really caught my eye when I saw it on the cover of the catalog.
ReplyDeleteI agree about the Walbrook Wool dress. I've also got my eye on the Embroidered shift. Not sure it would work on my pear shape, however.
The dot print wedge are tdf!
ReplyDeleteI wish the macrame top was longer it would make a great becah cover up.
ReplyDeleteNot going to be buying any spring Boden but like to look. I have lots of their items from the past several years including buying lots when I lived in the UK but did not buy any of their winter line except a velvet scarf and don't really need anything;). I have a lined dot raincoat just like the one pictured except mine is a dark plum with larger deep turq. polka dots. LOVE!
ReplyDeleteI bought the ruched bandeau swimsuit in three colors including the multi floral one you pictured. I was looking for something bright and fun and wanted it to work but it wasn't as forgiving in the stomach as I was hoping. The black one looked really good though so I will be keeping that one and returning the floral and blue with white dots.
ReplyDeleteHa Ha such a cute picture of the day after you partied, you got me there for a minute that made me laugh out loud literally in me office at work :) I really enjoy you rposts and always follow you. I didn't know how to post this correctly but I am on your pictures (members) but it's my cat Missy 4th row second one down. Great reviews.
