j.crew review: raj paisley pencil skirt.

Hi everyone!

I'm out of town, but wanted to post a quick review and pics of the Raj Paisley Pencil Skirt that I ordered with the recent secret promo.  It looks to be sold out online right now, but might be in stores still.

Love it! The colors are so rich and vibrant and fun. I went with my usual size 4.

Super basic, with the Factory Sweatshirt Tee. Love this tee, since it's more substantial than their normal tees, with a cute neckline. This is the navy blue and I also have and love the white (size small).

Looks great with a bright royal blue (this cardi is from Land's End Canvas, shoes are the poppy ballet flats from JC).

I'll be wearing this casual, so it's cute with a little tank and a chambray topper (first is Madewell chambray & Leslie Lace Shell '11 JC --similar, second is J.Crew perfect shirt I think from last year).

Pattern mixing? This is the Factory maxi check shirt.

What do you think of the Raj Paisley? Are you trying it out in the skirt? Or the perfect shirt or maxidress?

  1. Thanks for the review and all the outfit ideas. I just got this skirt on sale. I find the fit and fabric very flattering but I have surprisingly little to pair it with in my closet. I like it with the royal blue cardigan and chambray shirt the best!

  2. Many have heard the idea of never buy anything unless you have 3 items in your closet that will work with the new item. You are awesome at this concept! I really enjoy your styling ideas. Many times I have overlooked an item as too difficult to style to see it pop up on your blog with endless options! You definitely have a knack for working new items into your existing collection.

  3. Thanks for the outfit ideas! I want to keep it but will have to make special time to try outfits on Saturday morning. I'm already style challenged so getting past a white or navy top, with a cardi option, will be tough. lol :)
