An actual published online sale today at J.Crew -- 30% off sale with code MUSTHAVE. Free shipping with $175 as usual (boo). I've had a few "secret" sale items roll in, and thought I'd review.
Tiered Ruffle Dress -- I have the navy, which I love, and wanted to grab this one just as a cover-up. You can see the color, length and the plunging neckline make this a little more in-your-face than the navy one. I tried it on with one of the bra tops I ordered from Victoria's Secret last year, and actually think it could be worn out like that. It's cute layered with the jean jacket too. (Shoes are Gerbera Flats from Anthro.)
Next up is the factory Perfect Shirt in Suckered Gingham. I went with a size small as I didn't want to chance it being too tight in the bust with final sale. I've had a few sizing issues like that. This fits, probably a little on the bigger side, but I'm planning to mainly wear this open, over a tank, sleeves rolled up, with shorts. But this gives you an idea of sizing. (I'm 34b) It's quite thin and you can see the sheerness, making it great for warm weather.
I love my Jardin skirts, as you may know. So of course, when the blue hit sale, plus discount, that baby was coming home to mama. Love it! And I'm a bit shame-faced to show you that I got the "French" Je Suis Graphic Tee, darn-well-knowing that the French is wrong. Wrong! So ridiculous. But it's cute with the skirt, what can I say? 6 in the Jardin and small for the shirt (wouldn't have wanted any smaller). The tee is quite thin.
And here is the Cotton Rib Hoodie, which dropped down to $14 with all those discounts. I wanted it just as a throw on when I'm chilly and sitting on the deck or at the beach/lake whatever. They didn't have any XS left, so I got a small. XS would have been better, but I'm ok with the small. You can see it doesn't exactly make me look svelte, so bigger busts might not love it. Anyway, it runs on the bigger side of things if it pops back. Nice and thick, cute little brown buttons.
I have a few more things coming in today, so I'll let you know how those go.
Have a great day!
