busy, busy + giraffe bracelet, bee necklace, turquoise hacking jacket.

Hi everyone!

Lots going on right now. I have my big fundraiser today that I've been organizing for many months! Lots of work, but all for good. And by tomorrow, it will be back to business as usual, hooray! I also think I may have herniated a disc -- argh! -- so it's hard to sit for long...making blogging a bit tricky. :)

That said, I have to mention that I received some of my sale items and wanted to show you a few quick pics. Love everything, and some of them were crazy deals, which makes it even more fun. :)

First, the giraffe bracelet (the older pink/tan one -- the new one is here), which dropped in price during the promo, and I was able to grab before it sold out. I love it! So, so cute, and I feel well made. It does turn around a bit on me (to be expected), and I wouldn't wear it with anything lacy or super snag-prone. It makes me smile though.

Next, a pic of two sale necklaces from in store, marked down to $6.99 with the promo. One is a little boat, and the other is a little sparkly turtle. Obviously, I'm down with the critter thing.

Oh, and here's the Factory bee necklace in my OOTD -- love it! They are out of stock online, but it might still be in stores if you want to search.

One more! I admired the Hacking Jacket in Double-Serge, turquoise, ever since it came out. (It's sold out online, but pops back now and then.) However, I knew in my heart that I wouldn't wear it quite enough to pay anywhere near full price. But the color...so dreamy! So, I watched the sizes dwindle, and the price ever so slowly come down. Finally, when sizes were only intermittently popping back, I made my move. I didn't get the 4 that I tried on (in another color), but a 6. And I was totally ok with that, b/c this jacket runs ever so slightly tighter than other blazers, and makes it hard for a girl to layer. You might know I like to layer. And I was happy to find that it completely works and fits very comfortably. And I love it way more IRL than seeing it online.  See it on Jeannie.

Some pics (I'll try to update with pics of it on me this week):

Here is one way I plan to wear it:
mint

There are some more odds and ends that I picked up during the sale that I'll be sharing with you, but that's all I can manage sitting for right now! :)

Tell me about your sale goodies! Have you received them? How happy are you that the dreaded Final Sale is over and back to good ol' Spring Sale? Hooray!

    2. Have to share...I caught a size 6 in a popback yesterday and it's on the way to me already! Fingers crossed it works. Like you, I usually take a size 4, but I do remember the herringbone version fitting a smidge tight. Here's hoping...(but if not, at least it's not final sale anymore!)

  7. The turquoise jacket is so pretty! I keep looking at the giraffe bracelet, I asked my husband to buy it for me but I think he forgot the next second. LOL!
I hope your back is getting better. What happened? I've never had that kind of back injury but it sounds very serious and painful. Sending all of my good thoughts your way for a quick recovery. :)

    1. I hope he remembers your hint! It's really so cute. The tan/cream one will probably be a bit more versatile than mile too.

I've had back issues before, and I think once you have them, they can re-trigger again more easily, especially when you're overtaxing yourself. Hopefully it will heal quickly if I take good care! Thanks for your good thoughts! :)

  8. Hi, I love your picks. I really like the little sailboat necklace, especially for the price. I too purchased it along with a gold anchor necklace that was in store only.
