Some more new arrival reviews!
Cropped Fray Jacket -- This is in the neon rose color, which didn't seem neon at all to me IRL. I went with my normal size 4 blazer size and felt that was right. A little cropped and I liked the neckline. I also liked the bit of puff at the shoulder. Made from cotton/modal, which is nice. It was lined and I like the tonal buttons.
Big-shot Dot Circle Skirt -- I thought this was really cute. I couldn't decide where/when I'd wear it thought. I probably wouldn't wear it out for a date night (polka dots make DH laugh), and it wouldn't be used enough just to run errands, b/c it feel a touch too dressed up for some reason to me. I think it's fun for work or church though! This was a 4 and hit my waist and the fit was fine. I could maybe size up to a 6 to wear it a bit lower.

ReplyDeleteThe Cropped Fray Jacket appears to be the same color and fabric as the Basket-weave shift dress. The two together could possibly be cute as shirt/jacket ensemble for a dressier occasion or event. How would you describe the color IRL? Is it a coral shade?

ReplyDeleteLOVE the cropped fray jacket -- looks adorable on you! Believe it or not, it is marked down to (I think) $99.99 at the North Michigan Avenue store. Went in yesterday to return a pair of pants & I could not believe what was in the sale section. The yellow spring peacoat with the gold buttons was also reduced. This stuff just came in, didn't it??

ReplyDeleteI love the jacket on you. The color is great. Doesn't look neon to me neither but I like this color better than the usual red/orange. Not sure about the big dots on the skirt. I'm a huge polka dot fans and big dots on skirt is not my absolute favorite.
