a casual OOTD.

Hello all!

While the weather has been gorgeous here (shorts and tank today, crazy!), it's been a long, crazy week for me. I'm running a school fundraiser event, planning a trip, organizing a bridal shower and managing a strong-willed 4-year-old. There aren't enough hours in the day sometimes.

Here's a quick pic of a recent and casual OOTD. I don't wear skirts and dresses every day, especially when I'm feeling so nuts. :) Casual for me is: jeans (2010 Gap Always Skinny, similar), flats (old J.Crew, Kelsey Patent Ballet Flats, similar), and one of my go-to pieces, J.Crew's Lady Lace Popover (similar, factory version). I also was miraculously thinking ahead when I got the popovers, and ordered the perfect tanks in matching colors (needs a cami).  It was raining off and on that day, so I had my short Icon Trench (J.Crew, similar). The patent flats work really well on rainy days, I must say. The purse is on older J.Crew bag (thanks to a fabulous JCA!), which sometimes pops up on eBay (large Metallic Gallery Leather Hobo in gold, similar on ebay, another). I love it. Anywho, here's my exciting outfit!

The J.Crew 30% off sale is still going on, and there was an update this morning. Ebates is 6% -- super high for the Crew. I've been very tempted, but have stayed strong so far. Have been very much thinking about the wildcat Jules...
