land's end canvas spring arrivals!

Hi everyone!

Hooray for new spring arrivals at Land's End. Lots of preppy goodness going on here. Free shipping, no min! MINT pin: 1710 (Thanks Kate!) on $50+:  CANVASJAN pin: 1217. Here are my picks:

Striped Sailor Tee -- Looks really nicely made, and I love the red/white. I also love how they styled her hair, so fun!

Lightweight Rugby Shirt -- I have such fond memories of the days when I wore rugbys way back when. I like this updated one, with interesting colors and the denim collar.

Patterned Pintuck Shell -- So pretty and feminine. This will likely run big, just looking at it.

Long-sleeve End-on-end Shirt -- Shock pink, you will be mine. ;)

Long-sleeve Chambray Shirt -- In the endless search for the perfect chambray shirt, this looks like a contender.

Cafe Cardigan -- Perhaps similar to the Jenna Cardigan? Priced high though, IMO.

Reverse Jersey Striped Dress -- So cute! I have a similar one in navy, but love the red option. Although I'm a bit dismayed to see the high price ($100) at Canvas. I hope they don't price-creep. It feels like things are priced higher this season, no?

Bonded Pea Coat -- Classic and will probably last forever.

High Wood Wrap Insley Wedge Sandal -- Definite fun 70's vibe here, totally wearable with the low wedge. Not sure if the wood will make it uncomfortable, but there is a padded insole and rubber traction.

Washed Silk Printed Scarf

Canvas Satchel -- I need a navy bag, but maybe I just need something really casual like this. Bit pricey for canvas.

Foldover Clutch -- Love this!!

Also, be sure to check out their sale section. There are some rock-bottom prices.  I highly recommend the Heritage Cardigan (below) for a simple cotton cardigan in pretty colors, for practically free. (Ok, fine, $14-20, depending on color.) I have and love the rich red and nautical blue, and am going to add navy. They wash well and I love the 100% cotton-y goodness. The XS is what I wear, so if you're really tiny, you may be sized out.

See anything you like at Canvas? I'm hoping they do a little sale on new items.  I'll try to get over to the store and try some things on IRL. Ebates is 2% if you're buying.

Have a great day!

  1. Did you notice each item has a "pin it" but that take you to Pinterest?
Interesting I wonder if more shopping sites will be linking there?

  2. Ooh, no, didn't notice that, but it's smart. I've recently become addicted to Pinterest, and will probably end up pinning things from here. :)

  3. I looked through the LEC stuff last night and found many loves!

  4. I love the Heritage cardigan too. I just ordered 2 more that should be waiting for me on my doorstep when I get home. Great cardigans that don't lose their shape once you wash and dry them.

  5. Rose-- Definitely a lot to love!

ginastorm -- It's a really solid piece -- holds up well, lots of pretty colors, cotton, crazy good price! I think I'll be placing an order today. Might have to toss in a couple of these. :)

  6. There are a few things that look nice but I'm really not shopping much these days, still clearing out and trying to focus my wardrobe. I haven't really worn my LEC items so I'm trying to stay clear. And now our Sears store doesn't accept returns so I have to mail them back at my own expense, which makes it not worthwhile for me to order just to try on.
I am tempted to try that Heritage cardigan but I think I'll hold out for now.
And I am still loving all the stripes!

  8. I feel like LEC has turned out some real gems in the past year. Like a lot of retailers, everything seem to make it to super sale eventually. Can't even believe I just snagged the button side sweatshirt for $14.99!

  9. Ooo. I loved checking out LEC's new stuff too! Think LE and LEC have "re-engineered" their basic cardi. The LE version went up to just under $50 also. Hope to see someone review them to see if the new fit is any good. Great picks!

  10. Great picks. Thanks for whittling down for us. I don't even think I opened the catalog. $100 for that dress? I'll go to F21, thanks. I go real el cheapo in summertime.

@shopwithm. The pin it button must have been added very recently, don't think it was there last week

  12. Danibp -- I'm not buying as much either currently. We have two trips this year and I have quite a full closet! That's such a bummer that your Sears store doesn't accept returns -- how odd, esp for LE. I think stripes and I will always be BFF.

    ajc -- Go stripes! :)

OperaRach -- I agree, they've had some really great hits (some misses, but that's ok, I still love them). I just saw your review of that sweatshirt -- so cute and such a deal!

Closet Crisi -- I saw that, and hope it's even better. If it's really great, then I can be ok with a little price hike. But it better be a big improvement. At least we know that they do true discounts.

gigi -- I didn't get a catalog, which is weird. They do some cute styling lately. I know, $100 was way high for them. I'd expect that from JC (but then wait for super sale), so it's a little disappointing. But I bet the quality is better, and we know they stand by their products (no final sale). I go cheap in summertime as well. It's always such a relief to see the lower price tags, isn't it?

Kate -- Ooh, I didn't get one yet, thanks for the tip!

  14. @DaniP--any idea why they dont take the LE returns? Is it a store that doesn't carry any LE goods, too bad. expensive way to try clothing on isn't it. I just found the LEC canvas store here recently by accident, it is in a Sears store where I never go.

Promotion Code MINT and PIN 1710. this should give you Free shipp with no minimum, not sure how long it will last for
