It has been soooo hot, and I pulled out J.Crew's Amory Floral Castaway Dress (down to $49.99) to stay cool in sleeveless cotton. I got this early in the rollout, b/c I loved the fit and the print and the cotton (and pockets), and know it's something I'll grab for a lot. While I love my winter layers, sometimes it's a relief to be able to throw on one thing, with some basic jewelry and shoes, and feel pulled together. These Gap city flats match perfectly too -- and I got them for under $5 I think!

p.s. Big update in the J.Crew sale section today. I'll be trying out the Elsa Jacket and Loretta heels in modern red and will report back with pictures. Has anyone else tried these yet?

ReplyDeleteHey! I wanted to pop in and recommend the Stowaway dress. I think you might like it. I would never have tried it on, but the SA was wearing it. I got the mint green/cream one and have the navy on order.
ReplyDeleteAlso bought a cotton knit tiered ruffle dress that is adorable for beach/poolside. Can't find on the site, but it was on sale in store for $29. Again, something I would never have tried on but saw it on an SA. It's very flirty. Something just tells me you might like these 2.
